The Problem

The client's standard Shopify liquid theme had reached its limits in customizable UI/UX and began penalizing conversion rates during high-traffic drops due to slow image rendering and sluggish cart state interactions.

The Solution

Decoupled the backend with Shopify Storefront GraphQL API. Built the frontend with Next.js using ISR (Incremental Static Regeneration) for lightning-fast product pages, edge-cached the API routes, and applied highly optimized React progressive hydration to keep the critical JS payload minimal.

The Results

Slashed First Input Delay to nominal levels. The immediate interface feedback led to a drastically lower bounce rate and a massive uptick in cart-add interactions.
